Compact flexible reach truck
August 1st 2008 Stanley Handling has
launched the ROBUR SBC-R
Compact Counterbalanced
Reach Truck. This new
compact reach truck offers
outstanding performance
and flexibility to
users of small to
medium size
warehouses where
space is at a
premium and cost
a particular
consideration.
The SBC-R has
the versatility of a
counterbalanced
pedestrian forklift – able to
carry out day-to-day
movements of loads of
various sizes, and its tilting
carriage also enables the
operator to off load from
vehicles.
The SBC-R combines this,
when the load is fully
retracted, with a wrap over
fork stacker and is able to
work in smaller aisle
widths. The model is very
compact and can work in
an aisle width of just over
2m.
Load capacity is 1500kg
and lift heights are up to
4000mm. The size of the
battery fitted gives the
operator a full shift of
working time without fear
of running out of power
towards the end of the day.
The new model is
designed to help
organisations increase
productivity and meet
current health and safety
legislation.
