Daewoo strikes UK-wide contract December 1st 2004 Involving the supply of 50 new forklifts across the UK, Wakefieldbased building services suppliers, Deborah Services Limited, has agreed a £1m, 5-year contract with Daewoo.
DSL Transport Manager, Steve Haigh, who oversaw the contract, said: ‘The Daewoo trucks are well put together, are not pretentious or fancy and that suits the way we work.’ Daewoo’s UK general manager, Kun H Lee, believes this prestigious contract will further the company’s aims to become the leading value forklift brand in the world, having already established itself as a major player.
