Gritting lifted to a new level October 1st 2009 European distributor of SnowEx
spreading equipment, Broadwood
International, has launched the
FSM-175 mount, designed
specifically to attach a SnowEx SP-
1875 salt/grit spreader to fork tines.
Steve James, sales manager at
Broadwood comments. "At a time
when operators are looking to reduce
costs, the FSM-175 mount increases
the usefulness of the fork truck by
turning it into a salt spreader using
the forks as a mounting point, and
the forklift's 12V supply to power the
motor."
The FSM-175 mount is suitable for
use with the SnowEx SP-1875
spreader which offers durability and
efficiency in demanding conditions.
Thanks to a powerful and reliable
12V motor no drive chains, belts or
pulleys are necessary and the
operator has full control of spread
width and rate from the safety of his
seat. The robust polyethylene hopper
means zero corrosion, while the
SnowEx range includes 11 other
mount systems and a total of 9
spreaders for every application. More articles from Broadwood International: |
