Heavy series from Linde April 1st 2011 Trucks promise precise load control,
operator comfort & safety and clear
visibility when tackling heavy loads
Linde Material Handling has launched a new 10 to 18 tonne
diesel engine counterbalance truck series to service
applications at the heavier end of the market such as
construction sites, ports and rail, and heavy industries such as
steel, aluminium and aggregates.
Manufactured at Linde's Heavy Truck Division in Merthyr
Tydfil, South Wales, the H100-H180 series utilises a hydrostatic
drive system. The series consists of ten models with load centres
of 600 or 1200mm designed to suit a wide range of heavy
industrial applications from container and break bulk handling
to transportation of steel girders across construction sites and
moving automotive parts around a production site.
Using the Cummins 142kW diesel engine, the trucks also
feature Linde Load Control hydraulic control with engine speed
up and Sideshift fork positioner.
The operator's compartment is designed with precise load
control, operator comfort & safety and clear visibility in mind.
The side tilting cab enables fast and simple access to the engine
and hydrostatic drive system for servicing.More frequently used
service components such as engine oil, fuel and air filters, washer
fluid container, batteries, fuses and CANbus plugs are accessible
via a centralised service bay to help reduce operating costs and
maximise driver up-time.
Colin Flint, head of marketing, at Linde's heavy truck division
says: "The cornerstone of Linde's heavy truck strategy is to create
value for customers through three principal areas – technology
and innovation; manufacturing excellence and customer focus.
This latest heavy truck series underlines our commitment to
continued investment in new product development to deliver
value and increased efficiency for our customers."
The Heavy Truck Division is a dedicated facility for forklifts
from 10,000kg to 46,000kg including sideloaders and the Linde
Container Handling range of
products. More articles from Linde Material Handling (UK) Ltd: |
