Hyundai launches new reach trucks
October 1st 2009 Designed for intensive use in
warehouses,Hyundai is expanding its
range with four new sit-on reach
trucks. The machines, with capacities
of 1.4, 1.6, 2.0 and 2.5t, are equipped
with the latest generation of electric
motors with AC technology.
Reported to offer higher
performance, lower maintenance
costs and reduced energy
consumption, the trucks feature an
optimised motor design that ensures
particularly low noise emissions.
The powerful drive motor and
stability of the reach truck enhance
productivity, grade-ability and safety.
After stopping on a slope, the antirollback
function ensures operational
safety. The electromagnetic brakes,
which are fitted on to the loadbearing
wheels, give increased braking
performance.
The truck's extremely small turning
radius, combined with its compact
dimensions, ensure efficient work
even in narrow aisle operations. Lift
height are up to 12m. A camera can
be fitted ex-works between the forks,
