Model for light loads May 1st 2011 Hyster has released the H2.0-2.5CT series which is designed for relatively light use
environments. The series is available in both diesel and LPG iterations.
Hyster has launched a new series of diesel and LPG forklift
trucks designed for light to medium duty applications.
The H2.0-2.5CT series will join the flagship Fortens
range in the materials handling equipment brand's diesel & LPG
forklift product offering.
"Hyster now has an entry level IC forklift truck," explains Tom
Pickering, senior product strategy manager. "The CT-series retains
the Hyster reputation of being a tough and reliable
truck, yet offers features suited to lighter materials
handling duties in less demanding applications."
Only available with 2,000kg or 2,500kg lift
capacity, the CT series includes many of the proven
components and features available on the Fortens
range. Featuring a 2.6L Yanmar diesel engine or
2.0L Mazda LPG option, it includes a powershift
single speed cast aluminium transmission, drum
brakes, fully welded robust frame and pneumatic
shape solid tyres.
"This truck will be suitable for a section of the 2.0-2.5 tonne
market. Our distribution partners can help businesses strike the
right balance between the new CT-Series and the Fortens range,
based on hours and use," says Pickering. "For example, the CT
may suit an intermittent 15-20 hours a week operation in a retail
outlet with flat surfaces, while a continuous pallet network
operation should consider a Fortens truck."
The CT series features the new FLM80 full suspension seat for
maximum comfort and reduced vibration to the driver with easy
to operate suspension adjustment control. The truck is designed
to provide easy entry and exit, and the controls are within easy
reach of the operator. Electronic inching control is also simply
adjusted and Hyster is only offering the truck with low-effort
cowl mounted hydraulic controls.
The operator has clear unobstructed visibility through the
three-stage, full-free lift mast with fork carriage and optional
integral sideshift. The truck is compact with excellent control and
manoeuvrability, says Hyster, and various options are available
including lights and fork lengths.
Similar to all Hyster products, there is easy access to
components for serviceability and the truck provides a low cost
of operation if specified
correctly, according to use. More articles from Hyster Europe: |
