Nissan’s compact impact
August 1st 2005

Nissan’s compact range of IC trucks (3.5 to 5.0 tonne) is now rolling out. With two-speed automatic transmission for working in tight spaces, the FO4 series has a turning radius from as little as 2750mm, yet its low centre of gravity guarantees stability to its maximum lift height of seven metres, according to Nissan. Clean diesel and LPG engine options mean the FO4 can also work inside if required.

Offering greater lifting, lowering and operating speeds than their predecessors, says Nissan, they also offer greater driver visibility, operator comfort and therefore increased productivity. A single control lever facilitates simultaneous lifting and tilting operations, full hydraulic power steering aids response, while an oversized fan boosts cooling.
