On-site service aids growthJune 1st 2009
Supplier of leaf chain to the forklift truck replacement market, Chaintec, has announced a strong set of results for 2008 trading, with a headline 12 per cent increase in sales during that period. The company has delivered growth in both its UK sales and export divisions.
An important factor in Chaintec's growth has been the development of its onsite fitting services. First offered more than five years ago, the turn-key supply and fit solution minimises administration overheads and reduces maintenance costs. Chaintec identifies and supplies the right chain first time to its local engineer who expertly fits the chain to the forklift truck onsite.
The service has now been extended to a wider range of forklifts, including order pickers with very high masts, which are serviced using an in-house scissor lift.
