Raised operator module takes Yale above the rest June 1st 2008 With a 500 mm higher
operator position than
standard Veracitor VX Series,
the raised operator module
on Yale's special application
lift truck makes handling
double height pallets or taller
loads safer and more
productive. The raised
operator version of the
Veracitor VX is available with
all three configurations with
capacities from 2.0 to 5.5t.
Having a higher driving
position for the operator has
distinct advantages when
handling timber, paper or
food and beverages in larger
volume loads. The raised
operator module offers clear
forward vision over the load
when travelling forwards and
better all-round visibility
when using attachments and
manoeuvring in tight spaces.
There is also no load capacity
reduction due to the raised
cab position.
Operators are reported to
like the elevated driving
position on the raised
operator module and access
is made easy via the evenly
spaced wide steps, with
space for the largest work
boot. Additional grab handles
assist entry and exit on the
left hand side of the truck
and good forward visibility
through the mast and any
fitted attachment – all
helping to improve safe
operation.
A wide range of standard
applications is catered for
with the raised operator
module, with mast and
attachment selection
optimised for load handling
and forward visibility over
the load. Typical loads vary in
height from 1300 to
2500mm. More articles from Yale Europe Materials Handling: |
