Range gets arm upgrade
August 1st 2008

Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks has announced a redesigned tiller arm upgrade to the pedestrian and platform models in its warehouse range.

The first trucks to benefit from this change are the PBV20- 25N(H) series platform power pallets, PBP13- 20M(R) series pedestrian power pallets and SBP10-16N series pedestrian stackers.

Mitsubishi says the design addresses the issues that operators consider to be important. The rubber hand grips, are shaped for easy reach of controls and are comfortable and slip-free.

The aluminium shaft combines high strength with low weight. The crossbar has been shaped to deflect obstacles away from tiller arm, protecting the truck and the operator's hands. A creep speed button and tiller arm lock bypass have been included as standard to maximise control and reduce operator fatigue.
