Lift-truck specialist Samuk says it is winning orders for its
latest range of counterbalance forklifts, the B Series.
Designed in line with the company's philosophy of KISS
(Keep It Simple Specification), the B Series range of heavy duty
lift trucks is produced by Samuk's Chinese manufacturing
partner Hangcha.
The B Series offers counterbalance fork trucks with lifting
capacities from 1.5 to 3.5 tonnes and is available in both diesel
and LPG engine models.
The company says: "An excellent view of forks, load and road
is assured by a clear view mast and a high driving position, as
well as the panoramic rear-view mirror. Access to the driving
position has been made safe and easy by the addition of a step
while a full suspension seat provides comfort and lumbar
support, reducing physical stress. A full range of options is
available, from premium cabs to four-cylinder clear view triplex
masts at reasonable prices."
All Samuk trucks offer laptop-free maintenance up to 12
tonnes capacity at 600mm load centre.
The company adds: "In fact, expensive, unnecessary gadgets
are conspicuous by their absence. Nothing is added to a truck
unless it will provide a genuine operator benefit and it must not
conflict with the easy servicing
and maintenance promise of
which Samuk is so proud."
B Series oil changes are at
500 and 1,000 hours, as is
servicing for the powertrain
and running gear. Long-life
oil-immersed disc wheel
and transmission
brakes have a target
working life of 8,000
hours. After 7,500 hours, Samuk
offers a refurbishment to give the vehicle a
second life or prepare it for resale.
Other notable features of the new B Series models include a
suspended powertrain, a 4/5 multi-disc F/R clutch pack and
micro-filters for all systems. The B Series relies upon the latest
Tier 4 and 3A engines featuring sub-tropical cooling and separate
radiators for the engine to avoid overheating the cylinder head
gasket and high temperature 'bluing' and distortion of the clutch
pack plates. More articles from Samuk Lift Trucks Limited: |
