Something to shout about April 1st 2009 Yale Europe has won the
2009 Fork Lift Truck
Association Award for the
Environment with its
patented Yale MP16S Low
Noise powered pallet
truck: An off-set third
wheel and other noise
reduction measures
significantly reduce the
operating noise when
running over cracks and
uneven surfaces in floors.
Accepting the award
in Birmingham, Yale
Europe managing
director, Frank Ulbricht,
said: "Noise is one of the
greatest pollutants in the
workplace and the
measures we have taken
dramatically reduce the
unnecessary mechanical
noise made by pallet
trucks.
"Engineers working for
Yale at its warehouse
equipment development
centre in Italy isolated all
the potential noise
generating points on the
standard MP16S pallet
truck and developed a
solution for applications
where noise is a major
consideration. The result
is the Yale MP16S Low
Noise pallet truck."
Andrea Lucchi, Yale
General Manager for
Warehouse Equipment
added: "The award
winning Yale MP16S Low
Noise pallet truck is a
popular low cost solution
for a wide range of
materials handling
equipment users. It's a
real winner." More articles from Yale Europe Materials Handling: |
