Truck gives 25% more storage
October 1st 2004 A 25% increase in storage capacity over a reach truck operation and a short payback period have been reported by Multi Resource Marketing (MRM) following its purchase of a series 5 electric Translift Bendi forklift.
In this case the unit works in 2.2m aisles, although it is capable of safe operation in aisles as narrow as 1.65m. Likewise, the truck is used to lift 1150kg to 7.2m, although it can lift 1000kg to 9m. Special options include side shift, reversing bleeper and flashing lights.
