Truck with strong torque and high displacement for tough jobs

Following trials of trucks from 10 suppliers, Wiltshire-based Vastern Timber Co. has selected Komatsus FD45T for use at its five acre timber yard.

The Komatsu came out on top as the most robust and durable forklift, said Vastern Timber director, Peter Barnes. We needed a tough performer and Komatsu delivered according to our requirements.

Local dealer, Lex Komatsu South, supplied the unit because it is at the top of its class for torque and high displacement, making it particularly suitable for tough lifting jobs. The range also offers economy, durability and high operating efficiency, along with operator comfort and safety.
