West Country merger
April 1st 2009 A merger has taken place
between two West Country
forklift suppliers, Bristol
Forklifts and AJ Mechanical
Handling, both based in
Bristol.
The company will trade as
Bristol Forklifts and all the
vehicles, staff and service
technicians will be based at
the Bristol Forklifts premises
in Patchway – and will have
over 300 trucks in its hire
fleet. This is supported by a
highly experienced team of
service technicians able to
respond promptly to service,
maintenance and repair calls.

increased resources and
streamlined overheads will
ensure that we are wellequipped
for future growth
and can continue to provide
our customers with the first
class service they expect,"
says Bristol Forklifts director,
