Hubtex takes on Battioni & Pagani sideloaders
October 1st 2010 Hubtex has officially taken over the
worldwide sales of sideloaders made
by Battioni & Pagani. BP now
focuses solely on manufacturing.
The aim of Hubtex is to gain
access to a wider long load market
with an extended product range and
to exploit the possibilities worldwide.
BP's main product range consists of
2 way electric, diesel and LPG
sideloaders with capacities up to 35
tonnes, though their main
concentration has been in the 3–7
tonne market.
BP produced the world's first
sideloader for the handling of timber
in 1959.
Hubtex says: "The alliance
between the two companies brings a
great benefit of technology sharing,
particularly in their electric products
as both companies are market
leaders with their own products in
this area of the industry. A truck
from the new range is destined for
the IMHX Show in November."
