Toyota scoops supplier award
October 1st 2010 City Facilities Management (City FM)
has recently awarded Toyota Material
Handling UK the prestigious supplier
of the year award.
Glasgow-based City FM, which
provides a one stop shop for facilities
management and cleaning services to
ASDA stores nationwide, held its
inaugural supplier of the year award
to judge the performance of major
service providers to the supermarket
chain.
Toyota fought off competition
from not only competitors within the
materials handling equipment
industry but from a wider area to
claim the title of supplier of the year.
Craig Bonnar, managing director of
City FM and head of ASDA store
services explains: "Toyota have
instigated a method of contract
management that is industry leading
and has delivered a consistent high
level of performance and achieved
year on year cost savings to the
business. Their unit availability on a
fleet of over 1200 trucks has never
