Strong north of the border June 1st 2010 Crown says its Scottish business
withstood the affects of the recession.
The firms adds: "To say 2009 was a
bleak year in business is no meagre
statement.Virtually every sector was
hit and materials handling was no
exception."
Crown Scotland, a wholly owned
sales and service centre of Crown Lift
Trucks UK Limited, began trading in
the first quarter of 2009. It may come
as a surprise then, that it can report a
successful first year of trading.
Strategically placed just off the M8
between Glasgow and Edinburgh, the
new centre serves as the materials
handling partner for a growing
number of companies throughout
Scotland.
Simon Emery, md of Crown Lift
Trucks UK, adds: "We opened the
Scotland branch in response to
demand.While we have certainly not
been immune to the effects of last
year's recession, we did see a number
of large projects come to fruition. Our
range of lift trucks also boasts the
lowest Total Cost of Ownership
(TCO). Add the launch of our new
wireless fleet management system,
InfoLink, and we can see why Crown
Scotland bucked the trend for 2009." More articles from Crown Lift Trucks Ltd: |
