Driver safety competition

Barloworld Handling is sponsoring the Forklift Driver Safety Competition, being staged by KN Drinks Logistics.

The competition, open to KN employees, is run in conjunction with the RTITB. The final will take place at the RTITB Academy Telford and the winner will receive a surprise prize and the title of Forklift Safety Champion of the Year.

"Safety is a key issue in the materials handling industry and is something which all of us want to promote," said Gary Newell, sales director at Barloworld: "This will be a showcase for forklift driving skills in KN Drinks Logistics, and while it has a serious subject as its focus, we intend to put the emphasis very firmly on fun."
