August 1st 2006 TransHaul (UK), has purchased its second Aisle-Master electric articulated truck to work at its 50,000ft2 Berkshire depot.
As sole distributor and fulfilment operator for LSG Skychefs (the catering division of Lufthansa) in the UK, TransHaul is responsible for the storage and distribution of all inflight equipment for the 18 airlines serviced by LSG leaving from domestic airports. Absolute reliability of handling equipment is crucial, as is speed of operation.
As the Aisle-Masters are designed to work both inside and out, they can be used continuously to offload from incoming HGV's, take boxes and pallets directly to one of the 7000 pallet locations and reload for dispatch.
