Fleet of 4-way forklifts enhances efficiency
October 1st 2006 PVCu profile supplier, Eurocell Profiles, has placed an order for a fleet of Combilift 4-way forklifts to work in its network of distributor branch locations.
Recently the focus at these locations has been on maximising storage space and extensive trials of a newly developed 2.5t capacity compact Combilift model were carried out.
The need for more streamlined operations which will simultaneously enhance health and safety procedures was identified.
The Combilift delivered very successful results, cutting down four handling manoeuvres with two operatives to one single manoeuvre with one member of staff.
Consequently an order was made for a customised fleet featuring a special short 850mm platform designed to work in the narrow confines of the branches. More articles from Combilift Limited: |
