Heavy order for forklift company March 1st 2011 Combilift, has won a contract to
supply four forklifts to one of
Brazil's largest steel producers,
Gerdau.
Since Combilift introduced its
first 4t model when the company
was established, it has developed and
increased the capacity of its range.
Gerdau's trucks, fitted with John
Deere engines, have lift capacities of
16t which will enable them to cope
with manoeuvring long and heavy
product from the production facility
to outside storage areas. Due to the
high temperatures both inside the
manufacturing area and outside, air
conditioning units have also been
incorporated in the cabs.
The first of the four trucks is
already in operation, while the
remainder of the order is due to be
delivered. More articles from Combilift Limited: |
