Multitasking truck
October 1st 2005 The European spare parts distribution hub of Samsung Electronics distributes a huge range of parts across Europe. With its business expanding, Samsung’s warehouse team were looking for a versatile truck that could carry out multiple tasks, from loading/unloading, to picking, pallet placing and stocktaking. A Narrow Aisle Flexi G3 has provided a solution to all these requirements in a single truck.
The Flexi’s design gives it the ability to work in very narrow aisles of 1750mm wide. Compared with a conventional reach truck, this enables operators to store around 30% more pallets by eliminating the extra space a reach truck needs to turn into the racking and clear the high reach legs.
