No ramps or cranes August 1st 2008 Combilift celebrates its 10th
anniversary this year and
CeMat saw its biggest show
of Combilifts to date,
exhibiting 15 models on an
inside and outside stand.
Combilift also launched
its latest product, the
Combilift Container Lifter.
This has been developed for
the container haulage
industry. "Using containers
is the cheapest way to
transport goods around the
world, but the loading and
offloading process can be
awkward, involving extra
hired equipment," explains
MD Martin McVicar. "The
integrated Combilift
Container Lifter eliminates
the need for ramps and
cranes, and allows safer
ground level loading and
unloading." The crane arms
hydraulically move along the
chassis enabling it to lift 20,
30 and 40ft containers up to
34t. It can lift two smaller
20ft containers
simultaneously, and
offloading takes two
minutes. More articles from Aisle-Master Ltd: |
