Easilift wins a million from DC developers
April 1st 2005 Easilift Loading Systems’ most recent contract with business park developers Wilson Bowden Developments takes the value of its dealings with the firm to almost £1 million over the last four years. The latest £161,000 order is for a variety of loading bay equipment for use in an 184,000 sq ft warehouse at South Normanton, Derbyshire, being build for third party distribution company, UDG.
Wilson Bowden Developments specialise in offering tennants purposebuilt warehouses and distribution centres that come as a standard package, which includes Easilift sectional overhead doors and associated loading bay equipment.
A preferred supplier for several years, for this latest order Easilift has equipped 14 loading bays with its Powerdoor electrically operated, fully insulated overhead access doors each measuring 3200mm wide by 3800mm high. Each bay has a Model 403 collapsible frame shelter and a Model 232 Poweramp dock leveller.
Measuring 3600mm wide x 4050mm high, the dock shelters incorporate a pulldown blind roller to accommodate double deck vehicles as well as standard 40 ft trailers.
