Linde and Potter group go down the aisle
April 1st 2007 Road and rail logistics provider, the Potter Group, has signed a five-year contract hire agreement with Linde Materials Handling to supply and maintain its entire materials handling fleet. Linde was approached to find a logistics solution to meet the Group's growth plans, starting with a comprehensive audit aimed at improving efficiecny. Linde reviewed the exisitng mixed fleet of around 130 units in the Group's five locations, progressively reducing the number through rationalisation to around 100 trucks. The first X range reach trucks have already been delivered to the group's Selby, Yorkshire centre and more units are scheduled for shipment by the end of 2007. The equipment will be supplied under a full maintenance hire contract, making Linde the sole supp,lier of the group's materials handling equipment. More articles from The Potter Group: |
