Linde at IMHX 2007
February 1st 2007

The International Materials Handling Exhibition to be held in March 2007 at the NEC in Birmingham is an important event in the coming year's logistics calendar providing as it does a superb shop window of the products and services on offer by leading suppliers.

It is also a rare opportunity for business visitors to access a wide range of materials handling information at one location and to benefit from the experience and expertise of the professional stand staff who will be on hand to provide assistance.

Far from just being a display of the latest handling equipment available, IMHX 2007 for Linde Material Handling (UK) Ltd is, more importantly, a valuable opportunity to be able to listen and learn about our customers' and clients' handling issues and to discuss how best these issues can be addressed in order to streamline the supply chain process.

Businesses today rightly expect much more from materials handling equipment suppliers who must be able to offer a longterm partnership that addresses all customers' individual handling requirements and not simply what type of truck to buy.For example, Linde will also be presenting detailed information on a wide range of bespoke value-added services ranging from flexible finance packages, fleet management systems, contract hire and short-term hire options, maintenance contracts, warehouse planning and much more.

In addition, we will be providing information on our local sales and aftersales services which are accessible anywhere in the UK.

Whatever industry the client is in, be it manufacturing, distribution or retail and whether the businesses are large or small, getting the products to the consumer on time every time is vital in order that the enterprise is competitive.

However, maintaining an efficient supply chain must be achieved while at the same time constantly monitoring and minimising the handling costs, because every time a product is moved costs are incurred but the value of the product remains the same.

Identifying the optimum handling solution is therefore an essential process for any modern business, since the costs of operating the supply chain can have a significant impact on the bottom line.

At IMHX 2007, as its contribution to enhancing supply chain productivity and reducing the operating costs, Linde will be exhibiting a comprehensive selection of innovative products covering engine and electric counterbalance trucks, a full range of warehouse equipment including reach trucks, order pickers, VNA trucks, tractors and pallet trucks, as well as the value-added services and packages mentioned earlier.

We will also have an external stand showing the Linde range of 'heavy trucks' including a reach stacker, sideloader and empty container handler.

Many of the products Linde are presenting are new and will be making their debut at IMHX 2007. They incorporate features which highlight the huge advances made in enhanced safety and performance, energy efficiency, low maintenance requirements and ergonomics.

We look forward to welcoming our customers and clients to the unique Linde venues at IMHX 2007 and to having the opportunity to listen to their handling issues and to discuss their requirements in a relaxed yet informative environment which will also include some light refreshment.
