Toyota and BT unite
April 1st 2007

As this issue went to press, Toyota Materials Handling Europe announced it is to integrate its Toyota and BT operations in the UK under the Toyota Material Handling UK (TMHUK) banner.

The company says the single channel will hone operational efficiency and improve customer service.

Expected to be operational before the year end, the new organisation will be led by Mike Mathias (managing director) and Steve Hodkinson (deputy managing director). The company will recruit some 200 additional sales and service staff to support UK growth.
