Crown wins design gold award for 5th year
August 1st 2010

Crown's ESR 5000 reach truck series has won the International Design Excellence Awards Gold Award 2010 in the Commercial and Industrial Equipment category, making Crown the winner of the design award for the fifth year in a row.

The competition is organised by the Industrial Designers Society of America, a membership-driven society. The awards honour international designers and entrepreneurs whose products stand out by virtue of design excellence and innovative thinking. Various criteria are used to judge entries, such as innovation, benefit to the user, benefit to society and natural ecology, and sustainability.
