Replacement parts within 14hrs
October 1st 2004 According to Finning Materials Handling, its new parts service is set to knock 34 hours off the fastest turnaround times in the industry.
The Parts Promise service ensures delivery of a replacement part anywhere in the UK within 14 hours, helping to keep customer downtime to a minimum.
To achieve this Finning has teamed up with Lynx Partsflow, leading supplier of logistics services to the lift truck parts sector.
The service sees the parts being delivered direct from the supplier to the engineer. For example, if the Finning engineer places an order with the service team by 4.00pm, the parts will be dispatched from the warehouse in Belgium and delivered into the engineer’s van by 7.30 am the next morning.
