Calor calls for fuel feedback June 1st 2011 Calor Gas is calling on the nation's
lift truck operators for feedback on
operating lift trucks with different
fuel sources. The survey is being
conducted in association with
RTITB and those who take part are
given the chance to win a VIP
package worth up to £1000. The
winner and two friends will attend a
Barclays Premiership football match
of their choice*.
Calor is seeking feedback from the
practical experts – the operators
themselves – to build up a picture of
what it's like to operate lift trucks of
varying fuel sources, day in, day out.
The survey takes no more than
5min and can be found at:
www.calor.co.uk/RTITB.
The exact details of the prize are
dependent on the game and team
chosen, but typical packages include:
Drinks reception, three course prematch
meal, drinks and
refreshments, top-level seats and car
parking space.
Paul Young, from Calor says:
"There is much debate about the
advantages and disadvantages for
each of the fuel sources lift trucks
can operate on.Whilst our tests at
Millbrook Proving Ground have
demonstrated that LPG emits
significantly less particulate matter
and CO2* than diesel, as well as
providing the 24/7 power and
versatility an electric truck simply
can't, we want to find out more
about the advantages and
disadvantages on a day-to-day level.
