Fuel cost calculator
September 1st 2009 Linde says its Fuel COST (Cost of
Operations Savings Tool) Calculator
programme enables it to prove how
much less fuel a Linde truck uses
compared with competitors' trucks.
Independent tests (Transport &
Opslag, Netherlands) have shown
that Linde trucks typically use 30 per
cent less fuel than some competitors.
"More and more companies are
beginning to realise that the true
value of a forklift truck should be
calculated on the lifetime costs,
rather than just an initial purchase
price," says Linde's David Bowen.
"We are happy to take the COST
Calculator to any potential customer
and look at their particular
application and requirements
because we know that we can always
prove they will use less fuel with a
Linde truck."
