New 2010 diesel units October 1st 2007 New 2010
DEUTZ has rolled out a
new series of 2010 diesel
engines, which it says are
both compact and
powerful.
Outputs range from
53kW to 74.9kW with a
bore of 96mm and a
stroke of 120mm,
corresponding to a
displacement of 3.47
litres. Featuring direct
fuel injection with a
mechanical governor
fitted as standard, an
electronic governor is
also available, which
DEUTZ says makes them
well suited for power
train management
systems.
Like all the
manufacturer's models,
they fully comply with EU
Stage 111A and US EPA
Tier 3 emissions
legislation, and the 2010
concept is capable of
fulfiling the limits
specified for the next EPA
Tier 4 and EU Stage 111B
levels.
DEUTZ says its
compact, space-saving
modular engine
platforms minimise any
potential equipment
redesign costs. The
company claims they
have an impressive power
to weight ratio, extremely
high levels of reliability
which, allied with long
maintenance intervals,
deliver cost effective
operation in the most
demanding conditions.
