Clamps for the paper and pulp industry
October 1st 2005

Cargo care provider, Convoys, has taken delivery of the first two PaperTech Pulp Clamps from B&B Attachments for handling woodpulp at facilities in Chatham Dock in Kent.

The model PP4080T PaperTech Pulp Clamp has a capacity of 4000kg at 800mm load centre, with 1400mm thin profile, long arms. The clamp’s variable side shift allows easy positioning of loads. A quick release rear mounting enables the attachment to be speedily detached or easily mounted onto the fork truck.

With a frame width of 1560mm, the clamp is well within the profile of the truck to provide an opening range of between 610 and 2230mm. This allows the handling of either one or two packs of woodpulp.

Developed in conjunction with the paper and pulp industry, PaperTech Pulp Clamps are part of the PaperTech range, which also includes paper roll clamps.

The ranges have been specifically designed to provide in-built reliability, low maintenance, high performance and long life.
