Doosan expands warehouse range January 1st 2011 Two tonne capacity low level order picker
available from March
Due to increased demand and improvements at its Germany
production facility, Doosan's range of warehouse
equipment has been extended.
The company says: "A world leader in equipment design,
construction and power sectors Doosan has already enjoyed
success with its existing warehouse product range which includes
16 different machines. With the ambition to enter new markets
and become recognised as a serious player, Doosan believes it now
has the opportunity to provide greater productivity and value for
new clients with its complete range of products."
One example of the new range is the 2 tonne capacity low level
order picker, the LEKH20. Available in the UK from March, the
LEKH20 will complement the existing range of pedestrian
stackers, pedestrian and ride on pallet trucks, reach trucks, air
cargo handling systems and scissor lift machines.
Paul Watson, DIUK general sales manager explains further:
"The extension of our warehouse equipment is a big step for
Doosan. Introducing new equipment, like the LEKH20 gives us the
ability to cater for those customers that wanted to deal with us
before, but were unable to due to us not having the necessary
equipment.
"This transformation into a full production facility gives us the
ability to be recognised in new markets while sticking to the
Doosan ethos of developing simple, powerful products that
combine superb performance with great value."
As well as introducing several new products to the range,
Doosan's latest Ride on Powered Pallet Truck, the LEDH20MP has
been nominated for an FLTA Award for its speed control.
The safe operational speed of a powered pallet truck can vary
depending on the type of movement being undertaken. With this
in mind, Doosan developed a programmable system for the
LEDH20MP, which auto controls
the speed while cornering. More articles from Doosan Infracore Co. Ltd: |
