Feedback helps to create 2nd wave August 1st 2008 Pfaff says it has listened
carefully to users' feedback
since the launch of its first
EGV range of powered
counterbalanced
stacker trucks.
"Customers
have
appreciated the
versatility of the
range and what
we've tried to
do with the
second wave of
machines is to
enhance their
build quality
and
robustness,"
explains
Kevin
Griffiths,
general manager of Pfaff UK
division.
The upgraded range
includes two model types –
the EGV SC – available in 800
and 1000kg capacities and
three lift heights, and the
1200kg capacity EGV SCB –
available in four lift heights.
Both combine enhanced
build quality with useful
operator and safety features.
All models have a skirt
clearance of 80mm –
compared with the usual
industry standard 25-30mm
– which prevents the
machine bottoming out.
Both the SCB and the SC
have the same proven Curtis
electronic control system,
and there is a
1600kg version
of the SCB
available on
request.
Pfaff also
specialises in
machines tailored to
challenging and large-scale
operations, such as baggage
and aircraft container
handling, low level order
pickers, powered pallet trucks
and reel handlers.
