AFI kit sent to Coventry
August 1st 2005

Some of the biggest and smallest scissor lifts in AFI’s fleet are being used by dry walling and partitioning contractor, Taylor Hart, on the construction of the new £113m Coventry Arena.

The firm used a 22.5m Liftlux 205-25 scissor lift to access some of the highest areas within the arena, whilst at the other end of the scale, it used a 7.8m Skyjack 3219 narrow width scissor (with a width of just 0.81m) for restricted space areas.

“Large scissor lifts can be difficult to obtain but all credit to AFI that it managed to supply the Liftlux quickly,” says Taylor Hart’s Will Hart.

The Liftlux 205-25 and the Skyjack 3219 were among the 16 scissors supplied by AFI’s Birmingham depot.
