Designed to avoid load clash
February 1st 2006 Load clash can occur at full lift height with the hoist unit chain box when handling big bags or larger awkwardly shaped loads. However, this potentially hazardous incident can be avoided with purpose designed hoists from J D Neuhaus.
Single or twin load hooks can be provided, each with 1000 or 2000kg capacities, with both designs providing various degrees of collision clearance. The hoists are air powered, making them suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. A three metre lift height is provided as standard, with maximum lift heights up to 67m possible.
