Kentruck’s cheese ease
February 1st 2005

Cheese producer Long Clawson Dairies has taken delivery of 7 Kentruck straddle B69E stackers to enable safer handling of its organic cheeses.

Because cheese rounds weigh 9kg and need to be moved and turned regularly at a working height of 1m, the company sought a convenient working platform level to avoid repetitive stooping and back strain.

Traditional practises designed around four way entry pallets throughout the production area ruled out conventional wrapover fork stackers and counterbalances had been eliminated as too big for the space. B69E models offer capacities up to 1000kg and lift heights up to 3750mm.
