Reliable moving floor system stacks and transfers steel

Since its installation in 1995, Organically Coated Steel has used a Joloda Moving Floor to stack and transfer steel. Adapted to suit the individual requirements of the operation, the system has proven very reliable. It allows ease of handling during steel stacking, minimising product damage. The system at Organically Coated Steel is designed to handle five tonne packs of specialist steels and consists of three independent driven low profile floors an empty pallet in-feet conveyor, a scissor lift conveyor, and a pallet out feed conveyor. The low profile gearbox unit is powered by a three-phase mains supply.
