Robot enables 100% production increase

Okura has installed its 100th palletising robot in Europe. The A Series unit will enable a major manufacturer of animal feeds to increase production by up to 100%.

Okura designed and installed a palletising system to support a new dedicated production line, which included the A1600 palletising robot, bag flattener and pick-up station conveyor, a 12 pallet dispenser and pallet conveyors.

The system incorporates user friendly, windows-based palletising software and controller with touch screen panel, which enables new product and stacking pattern changes to be quickly made off-line via a remote PC.
