Safe, productive order picking
February 1st 2004 Two new Wave work assist vehicles from Crown are reported to have brought about safe, more productive order picking routines for staff at the Warrington warehouse of Weldspares-OKI.
Operating at ground level, the Wave with a turning radius of just 1205mm can travel at a top speed of 6.5km/hr. In the raised position travel speed is reduced to 3.2km/hr. For added safety, it has an automatic cut-out device that prevents operation over 0.5m if the safety gates are not fully closed.
