Safety lifting clamp guaranteeJune 1st 2004
At least 30% of safety lifting clamps could be unsafe, according to research carried out by Inter Product (IP). In an attempt to set new standards and demonstrate total confidence in the safety of its own clamps, the company has introduced a 10-year guarantee. The warranty applies to all safety lifting clamps from IPs standard delivery programme, which is distributed in the UK by Certex UK. Carl North, business development manager for UK and Ireland, says: For some time IP, in conjunction with Certex, has offered a repair and maintenance service for its customers, that includes an option to trade in old non-IP clamps for new ones. It was obvious that some of the clamps that were submitted for trade-in should have been discarded long ago.
