Handling booklets

Occupational health, safety and training publisher, Scriptographic Publications includes in its portfolio booklets on Manual Handling and the Employees' Guide to Manual Handling, designed for employees whose work involves manual handling.

The booklets use a specially devised combination of words and pictures to convey complicated messages in a simple and direct way.

Other titles include Fork- Lift Truck Safety, Working Safely at Height, Employees Guide to Risk Assessment and About Risk Assessment.

Michael Whitcroft, Scriptographic's MD said: "Injuries from Manual Handling account for over one third of all injuries in the workplace. It is important that organisations ensure employees understand the dangers of lifting and moving things, and are taught about the benefits of doing it correctly."
