New stainless steel winch

Lifting equipment supplier LTM (Lift Turn Move) has announced a further Stainless Steel winch for use in aggressive environmental conditions.

The Stainless Steel Hand Winch HA-ED is corrosion resistant and particularly suited to aggressive chemical industries, food industry, water treatment plants, marine and the refuse disposal industries.

According to LTM there are limited numbers of these hand winches on the market and the company has explored the marketplace to find a solution to suit bespoke requirements, which can typically be delivered with seven days.

The majority of the winch is made of stainless steel (304), the only exceptions are the gears in the gear box; these are made of high grade hardened carbon steel (any areas made of case hardened steel are enclosed in plastic covers).

The HA-ED is available in 500 and 750kg capacities, can be wall or base mounted, comes with large rope capacity (up to 26m), life long lubrication for easy operation and maintenance and, for added safety, a detachable crank.

Also available is an option for a two speed winch with free wheel gearing (in 500kg capacity only). Other options include a folding handle or adjustable crank.
