Compact 500kg payload robotDecember 1st 2003
Offering a maximum payload of 500kg, Kawasakis latest robot the M Series is of compact profile design with long reach and high wrist torque of 3920Nm. High payload robots conventionally require a large counterbalance, which increases interference and reduces the work envelope. On the M Series, innovative use of an advanced link structure has eliminated the need for the counterbalance. The series covers three models, all with extensive working envelopes and payloads from 350 to 500kg. Maximum reach is from 2540 to 3018mm.
