LTM moves to new premises
September 1st 2011 Just over six years after launching the
company, John Jones and David
King, co-founders of LTM are
celebrating the opening of a new
building as operations moved from
existing offices to a new purposebuilt
production warehouse in
Bromborough.
Still based on the Wirral, this
move marks a pivotal point in the
history of LTM as several important
improvements to both the physical
production space and the
operational procedures have been
implemented alongside the move.
"It was a crucial for us that we
didn't just get a bigger building and
keep going the same as before, but
that we focused our efforts on trying
to increase productivity within the
company, which ultimately leads to
better lead times for our clients and a
better customer experience," says
David King, operations director.
"Our aim has always been to
provide our customers with what
they want, when they want it and at
an affordable price, and this is a huge
step towards ensuring that that
happens, every time."
One of the key features of the new
building is the custom GIS Light
Crane System for the Workshop.
As the UK agent for GIS Hoists,
LTM is more than familiar with the
benefits of the GIS track system and
installing such a structure in the
LTM workshop was high on its list of
