More variety in variable speed range October 1st 2007 Verlinde has expanded its
variable speed range so
that it is now available
throughout the Eurochain
VL hoist range for loads
from 250 to 7500kg.
Variable speed used to be
reserved for the Eurochain
VL 10 hoist, with a lifting
range of 500 to 2000 kg,
but is now available for
almost all the range, except
for the VL1 and VL2 models.
The no threshold speed
variation guarantees
accurate load positioning
and increased flexibility.
The speed of movement
can be selected at will,
depending on the loading
weight, type of movement
and the user's experience.
Lifting is said to be safer
and more accurate. A
minimum speed of about
0.2m/min (according to
version) allows less
experienced operators to
handle loads without the
risk of damage.
The standard Eurochain
VL electric chain hoist has a
coder on the motor shaft,
braking resistance, brake
control and rectifier relay,
and continuous speed
checking system. There is
no jerking on start up and
rapid acceleration.
Progressive start up and
gentle stops mean that
mechanical impacts are
reduced. Loading on the
hoist's parts and on the
metal structure on which it
rests is lower, thereby
increasing its operating life.
Continuous speed
checking offers good
electrical performance and
the slow movement on
starting allow smaller
power supply components
to be used. More articles from Verlinde Lifting Equipment: |
