Stagemaker partnership deal in Ireland
February 1st 2007 The Stagemaker Division of French manufacturer, Verlinde, has announced a partnership deal that sees Gunnebo become a distributor for the entire Stagemaker range in Ireland. Stagemaker offers a complete range of hoists and controllers for the theatrical and entertainment industry. Gunnebo recently became a Verlinde Distributor and is now in the process of employing a dedicated team to look after the Stagemaker product set. Gunnebo will now have access to special application hoists within the standard Verlinde range for theatres, as well as specialist touring and rigging hoists. Jim Donoghue of Gunnebo, said: "This is a new venture and a new market for Gunnebo, who are committed to putting in place the necessary resource to make this new partnership work for all parties. We are already delivering strong sales of the Verlinde range and I see no reason why we can't diversify into this new market with equal success." The deal was negotiated by Verlinde's UK sales and marketing manager, Simon Rothechild, who said: "The Gunnebo partnership is already yielding terrific results across the core Verlinde product range, and it seemed a natural decision to encourage Gunnebo to offer the Stagemaker range as well."
