Lifting for Barbados
December 1st 2008 Packline has recently
developed a drum handling
system for a Barbados
medical creams and
ointment manufacturer.
The customer required a
purpose designed drum and
drum lifting device to lift and
carry a specified amount of
solution mix for its
preparation process.
Overall dimension and
capacity of the drum were of
the utmost importance, it
needed to be crevice free
and the material 316L
Stainless Steel.
Packline worked closely
with a specialist drum
manufacturer to achieve the
exact design requirements
and adapted the company's
stainless steel mobile lifter –
the Compac – with a purpose
designed drum clamp
